NEWS RELEASE

FOR IMMEDIATE RELEASE - May 24, 2000

CONTACT: Tim Dimoff, 330-255-1101

Akron - The Ohio School Boards Association (OSBA) has announced that Timothy A. Dimoff, president of SACS Consulting &Investigative Services, Inc. in Akron, has been selected as a break-out session speaker for the OSBA Capital Conference and Trade Show in November.

Dimoff will speak on the subject "The Agony of Ecstasy," concerning the dangers of this party drug and what schools can do to identify drug users and prevent drug use. The four-day conference is one of the largest educational trade shows in the nation and is expected to draw nearly 9,000 educators, school board administrators and school board members to the Columbus Convention Center on Nov. 13.

Dimoff is a retired Akron, Ohio narcotics detective and a national speaker, author, trainer and expert on high-risk school and workplace issues. He recently appeared on Dateline NBC in a story about background checks and stolen identity. His expertise includes investigating and consulting on substance abuse, violence and criminal activity in school and the workplace and sexual harassment. He conducts innovative drug testing, security systems, background checks and undercover investigations.

Dimoff trains managers on the identification and prevention of substance abuse in the workplace. He predicts a dramatic increase in synthetic drugs as the wave of the future as new drugs are created right in the home. "Synthetic drugs answer the cry of bigger, better, quicker highs," Dimoff said. "The addiction time is faster, which means increased traffic and higher profit for the dealer. For the user, it means unpredictability, because at any time these drugs can shut the body down and someone is dead."

Dimoff is available for speaking engagements and can be reached at his Akron office at 330-255-1101.
