First Time Comment Is Not Sexual Harassment
First Time Comment Not Sexual Harassment: That's the rule, according to the
U.S. Supreme Court which has held that no reasonable person could have
believed that a single comment with sexual overtones violated Title VII. The
Court restated its position that sexual harassment is actionable under Title
VII only if it is so "severe or pervasive" as to "alter the conditions of the
victim's employment and create an abusive working environment."
